Step One

The foremost thing to do is doubling the line by at least 6 inches and then let the loop end to go through eye hook. At least 6 inches of the doubled line should be left outside the hook eye.

Step Two

After completing step two, there is a requirement for tying an overhand knot. It should be done in such a way that the hook hangs from the bottom.

In the third step, the overhand knot needs to be held between forefinger and thumb. Once it did, then you have to pass the loop line over the hook and slide it above the hook eye.

Step Four
